@keoshi proposed a couple of changes to existing icons a few new ones
Tweaking existing icons: make a slight tweak to icons that have human representations: replace the solid dot (generally reserved for interface elements) for a more open, outlined shape. Not only does this styling match the rest of the icon, it’s also much more consistent with the rest of the library, and it humanizes these icons.
Adding new icons: grow the library by introducing new icons: bug, no-bug, security, card-add, key, and box-3d. These last two I’m not super happy with the results and could definitely use more love.
Changes:
People and block-post-author icons.
The solid dot is generally used for interface elements, so I’m proposing opening up the shape a bit and outline it instead to humanize these two icons a bit.
New addition:
bug/no-bug to be used in technical contexts such as issues, bug reports, fixes, changelogs, etc.
backward/forward useful for navigation.
key to be paired with the lock icons, or for plugins that support licenses.
card-add a generic element to add new elements beyond just the block editor.
security using the shield metaphor applies to site health and plugins in general.
box-3d to highlight physical products or related services.
He’s still on the fence about the 3D box because it would be the first use to use some sort of perspective so it could introduce that major inconsistency.
Design team will post a detailed P2 about it.
Updates:
For Figma workshop: At the moment, the design team doesn’t have people available to run the Figma workshop for WCEU. If anyone is available and willing to, please @estelaris know. It could be a basic workshop on how we use Figma for WP.

Exploration on the Document Attribute Side Toolbar by @jameskoster
James shared his exploration of the sidebarSidebarA sidebar in WordPress is referred to a widget-ready area used by WordPress themes to display information that is not a part of the main content. It is not always a vertical column on the side. It can be a horizontal rectangle below or above the content area, footer, header, or any where in the theme. inspector among the many things he is currently working on. Being inspired by this PR he is working on proposing a change for Post/Page Title to the top including other elements of the inspector. He’s tried a couple of times According to him, the benefits include:
Quick access to the page title
Update templates (adding this to the sidebar is quite challenging)
General information architecture on the sidebar is detrimental in its own way
We use the blockBlockBlock is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. Gives more real estate for working with the post attributes
General portability is more.

In relation to this issue on GitHub, Channing has been collaborating with Javier with the idea of ‘Gutenberg Labs’. This has everything to do with the experiment window on the Gutenberg pluginPluginA plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. We have been having discussions on the design channel about how this can work out. Channing & Javier have been collecting early ideas on where this can go. They began with the WordPress About page for releases to work with as a reference point. Similar references include:

The second virtual edition of WordCamp Europe is scheduled to take place between the 7 and 10 of June. We requested the team to share their thoughts on the biggest virtual contributor day. @paaljoachim among others offered to prepare supportive materials in the form of workshops and tutorials using the Learn WordPress project. The team is exploring ideas and options for smooth and easy contributor day experience overall. We will publish a P2 focusing on the topic once the official announcement is made.
Asia Pacific Working Hour
The growing interest of design working hours that can support multiple time zones. Considering the current timing are not too friendly for some. We are eager to explore working hours that are APAC friendly keeping the existing meeting times and evaluate the results. @chaion07 and @estelaris will write a P2 on this topic in the month of May.

@hedgefield informed about a user testing on Full Site Editing, conducted at Yoast recently where a lot of interesting observation and feedback came out. The Yoast team then shared this feedback using the Gutenberg repository including some Pull Requests. He shared a link to the reference document containing videos and screenshots.
@annezazu confirmed of the coordination focus with @francina on the topic and shared a link to a comment as reference. She’s currently awaiting a follow up comment there (for transparency and also for future references).
