An early look at some potential enhancements to select mode, both based on the idea that it becomes the foundation of a section-centric ‘assembler’ experience in coreCoreCore is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress.. In one concept, toggling ‘Compose’ mode adjusts the zoom level and selection mechanics, and opens the pattern inserter to facilitate easy adding / shuffling / re-ordering of sections. The second concept is a more opinionated experience. Toggling ‘Compose’ locks the inserter and inspector open and hides distracting editor tools.
