Extend / Themes iteration 2

Following the patterns created for the Learn categoryCategory The 'category' taxonomy lets you group posts / content together that share a common bond. Categories are pre-defined and broad ranging. (Learn, Forums, Developer Resources, Documentation), this visual refresh of the Theme Directory follows the same grids and structures to find shared DNA between. Presented here in both a “generic” version, featuring a basic headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes. on the landingpage, and a more expressive one that embraces the style and purpose of the section. In both cases, give the prototype a click-through, as you’ll note the main difference is in the landing page.

Styling nested elements through inheritance

A PR is in progress to add nested elements styling, both through containers in the editor, and through theme.jsonJSON JSON, or JavaScript Object Notation, is a minimal, readable format for structuring data. It is used primarily to transmit data between a server and web application, as an alternative to XML.

Audio component enhancements

All audio components are changing to the new spacing approach and revamping interaction styles according to the last design library changes. Audio results and the audio player will look cleaner and more consisten across pages.

Recent searches enhancements

In line with updates in the popover and modal components, the recent searches box will shift to a new style where search items can be deleted. The popover item spans new interactions that will be used in upcoming projects.

Lightbox

The approach centers around a global toggle for all images, with local overrides. You can combine these how you prefer, off by default with individual toggles on, or on by default, with individual toggles off. Issue.

Fonts & Google

To support the web-fonts feature bound for 6.4, it needs to be clear that fonts from the Google Fonts source are downloaded locally to your WordPress install, and served from your own server, as opposed to being served from Google’s servers. These mockups provide three levels of prominence for the notice. Issue.

Table design
