Figma Access

There’s a WordPress Component Library in Figma. Duplicate to edit, direct access is reserved for the design team. Figma accounts are free, but edit access is not.

You don’t need edit access to use the Figma libraries, you can copy components from there into your own drafts. If you’re a contributor with the ability to grant edit access, please be mindful, and downgrade to view access once the initial need for edit has waned.

Bringing Back the Weekly Design Triage

In order to review and move older tickets, I plan to host a few Design specific triage sessions. As of now there are a total of 136 trac tickets labelled as ‘needs design‘. Our plan is to go through the tickets giving priority to the oldest tickets, confirming their validity and moving them to proper team. I will be facilitating this session weekly on Tuesdays at 3 PM UTC in the Make WordPress Design Channel.

It would be a good idea to go through the following focuses before the session to make best use of the time:

Hi, I am interested in volunteering for this. Could you please tell me how to proceed. I am new to the open sourceOpen Source Open Source denotes software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. Open Source **must be** delivered via a licensing model, see GPL. community, but would love to contribute and really excited for this.
