The following tickets need design feedback, and would particularly benefit from discussion during the meeting (see specific points needing discussion in parentheses):
- Content authorship in nav menus – #34923 (needs better wording for the link to edit a newly-published page)
- A new experience for discovering, installing, and previewing themes in the customizerCustomizer Tool built into WordPress core that hooks into most modern themes. You can use it to preview and modify many of your site’s appearance settings. – #37661
- Improving contrast and UIUI UI is an acronym for User Interface - the layout of the page the user interacts with. Think ‘how are they doing that’ and less about what they are doing. consistency in the customizer – #29158 (needs a strategy for back arrow hover/focus styles)
- Custom background properties – #22058 (see latest comment, what about leaving it up to themes and taking the burden off of users)

We’re exploring ways in which screenshots would be displayed in the new PluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party Directory and can use some more feedback.

As many of you know we’re building a single page layout. So rather than having a full page where we can list several screenshots on top of each other, we have a limited space to show them.

Recently, there’s been an idea to use the Jetpack carousel, but how do these screenshots get displayed on the page? Mosaic tiles, square tiles, a slider?

@karmatosed Thanks for this list Tammie. I’ve picked up #29076, #25419 and #33141 for immediate testing and fixes targeted to 4.7 release schedule (i.e. first revision this week).

We’re also working on Nick’s Custom Background Properties: #22058.
