Playground allows them to connect their work to a GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ repository for managing their themes’ version control. 

In this session, theme developers will demonstrate the design, development, and preview approach for Automattic’s process. You will learn how to make all the connections work seamlessly from Playground to GitHub and back again, and how to work with the features of the Create Block Theme plugin.  An extensive time for Q & A allows for plenty of questions answered.
