Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

After 52099 is milestoned for WordPress 6.3 I would like to lead a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. I already have pinged @swissspidy and @pbiron (as the component maintainers) in #coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress.-sitemaps if they would help, and they will try to attend.

The list is not very long – just 20 items at the moment.

But after the introduction in WP 5.5 it only got some single fixes. Maybe time to look at it again and fine-tune it.

Additionally, I would like to raise awareness with this bug scrub to look at SEO/Sitemap plugins which often offer sitemaps even if the taxonomyTaxonomy A taxonomy is a way to group things together. In WordPress, some common taxonomies are category, link, tag, or post format. https://codex.wordpress.org/Taxonomies#Default_Taxonomies. or CPT is not intended to be public and therefore empty.
