 3. I’m working on how to make the Nav Editor more resilient to changes in the Navigation
blockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed
together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor.
The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes,
custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience..
 4. One route I’m exploring is [using Theme JSON to control the features of the Nav block](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34784).
My proposal does two things that I’d like some input on:
 5. 1. opens up `theme.jsonJSON JSON, or JavaScript Object Notation, is a minimal,
readable format for structuring data. It is used primarily to transmit data between
a server and web application, as an alternative to XML.` for extensibility by
developers via **hooksHooks In WordPress theme and development, hooks are functions
that can be applied to an action or a Filter in WordPress. Actions are functions
performed when a certain event occurs in WordPress. Filters allow you to modify
certain functions. Arguments used to hook both filters and actions look the same./
     filters**.
      2. allows `theme.json` to control features that are unique to particular
blocks (as opposed to things that are common across all blocks such as spacing).
 6. I’d like to hear what folks (especially those working on Global Styles) think
     about this.

 9. Me again…
 10. I’ve also been working on a fix for the HTMLHTML HyperText Markup Language. The
semantic scripting language primarily used for outputting content in web browsers.
blockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that, composed
together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor.
The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes,
custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and user experience.
whereby validation errors occur if you use the `<` character.
 11. I've rewritten the PR description with (hopfully) a clear explanation and test
     case.
 12. I'm looking for folks experienced in the block parser area of the codebase to
review and see what else might need to be done to progress this longstanding bugbug
A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization,
and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs
are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being
the highest priority. which continues to impact users:

 17. I’ve been working on assorted things: alignments (add [wide control](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34586)
only if theme provides wideSize, [fix for floats](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34635)),
link color (fix for [clearing the class](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34700),
fix for [link color in containers](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34689)),
cache issues for global styles ([stylesheet](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34704),
     [theme.json](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34540)), and adding support
     for [disabling](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/34420) text and background
color controls via theme.jsonJSON JSON, or JavaScript Object Notation, is a minimal,
readable format for structuring data. It is used primarily to transmit data between
a server and web application, as an alternative to XML.

 24. I’m working on a couple minor issues, [adding shortcut key to Preview Post](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/25021)
     but requires some refactoring.
 25. The other is [adding explanatory text to the Quick Inserter](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/24007)
when used in InnerBlocks, but still needs some further questions answered to have
     a clear path forward.

 28. The following comment made by a4jp . com was posted to last weeks CoreCore Core

 29. The inserter (add blockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units

achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent
API and user experience. – the line with plus mark) is missing above the top inserted
     block.
 30. Toggle block inserter doesn’t help here either.

 33. You currently have to add a block under the top inserted block then move it above
the top block each time. It would be nice to get this fixed.
 34. If the line that said add block were above the first block added it would just
take one click to add new blocks, which is very nice.
