Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.

What’s new in Gutenberg 11.1.0
GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/ 11.2.0 RCrelease candidate One of the final stages in the version release cycle, this version signals the potential to be a final release to the public. For task coordination:
Landed a fix for the immediate issue in https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/31515. Going to create a followup issue and PR to discuss if a deeper fix would be helpful.

For open floor:
If it’s okay, I’d be interested in shadowing someone close to my timezone (JST, so I’m guessing APAC or EU would work best) on a GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom HTML etc. https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/ release, to learn more about what’s involved.

I’d eventually love to be able to help with running one, and hoping that would help with learning about the knowledge gaps to fill.

I won’t be here but…

For Task Coordination:
- Seeking a review / 👍🏽 for a PR to fix a regression in copy/paste for Windows users.
- Looking for a review of PR to only show image and description placeholders in rich previews of link UI if the data is available.
- Looking for feedback on whether we should wrap long text when displaying in the Link UI or truncate in the middle. Opinions welcome. Will affect the entire editor.
- Any advice on alternative UA string’s to use for the `url-details` REST API endpoint to improve the likelihood an external site will accept our HTTP request would be much appreciated. I’ve also pinged the REST APIREST API The REST API is an acronym for the RESTful Application Program Interface (API) that uses HTTP requests to GET, PUT, POST and DELETE data. It is how the front end of an application (think “phone app” or “website”) can communicate with the data store (think “database” or “file system”) https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/. team.

They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party release today please let me know how they found the automated changelog feature grouping? I worked on a couple of PRs on that and I’m curious to know whether anything could be improved. My DM’s are open 🙂
- Also on that note, please can I make a plea for folks to consider being even more proactive in assigning labels to GithubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’ where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed before being merged be the repository owner. https://github.com/ Issues? With the correct labels assigned creating the release changelog can be far more automated. I’ve noticed a number of recent PRs without any labels and so I’m hopeful that we can reverse that trend for the benefit of the release leads. Much appreciated 🙇🏻‍♂️
