Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.

Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

Project updates

CSS Audit (#49582)

@ryelle announced that the CSS Audit tool now lives in the WordPress GitHub org and the latest generated report is available here – fantastic news!
The next stage is to publish an introduction Make post – @notlaura has started a shared document here to work on that

Color Scheming (#49999)

@ryelle has a Make post ready for review, with a roadmap for future work
We intend to discuss documentation for the naming scheme at next week’s meeting

CSS deprecation path (#53070)

@danfarrow noticed there had been some discussion on the ticketticket Created for both bug reports and feature development on the bug tracker. which seems to have stalled

Open floor / CSS link share

@danfarrow shared this Shop Talk Show episode about upcoming future CSS features. Lots of stuff to look forward to!
@joyously initiated a discussion seeking some clarity on details of the naming scheme. The discussion is not easy to summarise but she did raise some points that will be useful to consider when working on the documentation
