Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

It fixes a small but pretty old issue with the inline-link text in the editor.

I added a push during last weeks CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. Developer chat to get this into 5.4.1. As it would make it a lot easier for the user to go in and out of fullscreen mode.

In regards to embedding. This has a couple of important aspects to it. Sometimes a link embeds other times not. For links that are not embedded it should automatically become a text link. For links that embed a placeholder screen should come up giving the option to embed or to add a text link. Backend also needs to look similar to the frontend. I have added a few screenshots that shows various ways an embed looks like in the current version.
