Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

I’m not totally sure I’ll be present for the full chat. So. Here are some points that I am willing to raise during open floor.

Update of the roadmap page https://wordpress.org/about/roadmap. They are some new infos that can go there. An update on the status of the 9 projects for 2019 (Josepha wrote a post about this https://make.wordpress.org/core/2019/12/06/update-9-projects-for-2019). And also an update of the ‘Long term roadmap’ paragraph with 2020 expectations.

Finally, about the big image handling feature of 5.3 (https://make.wordpress.org/core/2019/10/09/introducing-handling-of-big-images-in-wordpress-5-3). They have been a lot of comments and feedbacks on the post, and in forums on Facebook and Stack Overflow (most of them were not positive).
Maybe it’s worth investigating what the change exactly do and why there seems to be some related backdraws in previous versions.
