 3. I unfortunately cannot be at the meeting due to the time difference, but I would
love to see some discussion and feedback about the blockBlock Block is the abstract
term used to describe units of markup that, composed together, form the content
or layout of a webpage using the WordPress editor. The idea combines concepts
of what in the past may have achieved with shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed
discovery into a single consistent API and user experience. template APIAPI An
API or Application Programming Interface is a software intermediary that allows
programs to interact with each other and share data in limited, clearly defined
ways.. I have a comment on GithubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online
implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified
by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories
require a paid subscription. GitHub introduced the concept of the ‘pull request’
where code changes done in branches by contributors can be reviewed and discussed
before being merged by the repository owner. [https://github.com/](https://github.com/)
     [here](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/11681#issuecomment-549641097)
     which could especially use feedback.

 6. Hey peeps, for task coordination:
 7. I’ve been reviewing nav-related PRs; also reviewing/testing the font size picker
PR and have just picked up Responsive View Controls in GutenbergGutenberg The
Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves
the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content
much simpler. It uses ‘blocks’ to add richness rather than shortcodes, custom
     HTML etc.
     [#13203](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/13203)) to work on.

 11. I’ll be doing some work on replacing the NUX dot tips with a welcome guide modal:

 14. I worked on Storybook integration with the playground which still waits for review:
 15. I made some progress with explorations for Patterns APIAPI An API or Application
Programming Interface is a software intermediary that allows programs to interact
with each other and share data in limited, clearly defined ways. for blocks:
 16. * proposal for an experimental API: [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/18270](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/18270)
      * API integrated with the Columns blockBlock Block is the abstract term used

 17. For the upcoming week, I plan to continue on Patterns API:
 18. * integrate proposed API with more blocks
      * extract common logic as an initial screen for blocks that define `patterns`
