Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.

Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

Ahead of WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. US last year, I held office hours that were open to the community which gave both me and the folks I met with (via video conference) an opportunity to connect directly. It was an enriching experience and I’d like to do the same at WordCamp Europe this year but this time in person.

I’ll hold these office hours between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Thursday and 9:00 am – 11:00 am on Friday and Saturday. In the spirit of speaking to as many people as possible, each time slot will be 15 minutes long with 5 minutes between each.

I’ll probably be joined by a colleague who will note any action items and/or follow-ups and who will also help to manage the meeting flow.

I’m excited to participate in WCEU again and am very much looking forward to these conversations, and of course looking forward to meeting as many folks as possible in the hallway, at the sessions, and of course at the always-fantastic WordCamp Europe social events.

Everyone might not be comfortable being part of a live stream.

What kind of questions are expected here? The theme review team has both open questions about the future of themes and questions that are highly specific to the theme review team. Maybe these specific questions are not appropriate for this format? But then what other means and platforms do we as WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ teams have to get answers to our questions?

  +1 on “not live streaming these” and only taking photos if Matt and his _guest_ affirmatively opt into that. We’re all capable of publicizing the content of that chats if we so choose, no need to make them a spectacle like Q&A after the state of the wordState of the Word This is the annual report given by Matt Mullenweg, founder of WordPress at WordCamp US.   FWIW, I spoke to Matt online the last time he did these and it was a good experience, even if he didn’t accommodate any of my requests. I’d definitely do it again, but sadly won’t be at WCEU this year.

These are more meant to be an opportunity for people to have 1:1 private conversations, if the other person wants to write about it or share anything from the conversation afterward they could ask and I would agree. There will be a public and livestreamed Q&A at my presentation on Friday, and we could look into doing another one of those in a few months purely online.
