# Editor Chat Agenda: January 16th

This is the agenda for the weekly _editor chat _meeting on [Wednesday, 16th January 2019, 14:00 GMT](https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20190116T14&p1=1440):

 * How to [get involved](https://make.wordpress.org/core/2019/01/11/how-to-get-involved-in-gutenberg-phase-2/)
   in Phase 2 Work?
 * Tasks Coordination.
 * BlockBlock Block is the abstract term used to describe units of markup that,
   composed together, form the content or layout of a webpage using the WordPress
   editor. The idea combines concepts of what in the past may have achieved with
   shortcodes, custom HTML, and embed discovery into a single consistent API and
   user experience. Proposals Flow.
 * PRs to highlight:
    - E2e tests reorganisation [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/13228](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/13228)
    - aXe accessibilityAccessibility Accessibility (commonly shortened to a11y)
      refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people
      with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct access”(
      i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s
      assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). (https://en.wikipedia.
      org/wiki/Accessibility) testing [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/13241](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/13241)
    - Async mode [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/13056](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/13056)

If you have anything to propose to add to the agenda or specific items related to
those listed above, please leave a comment below. Either way, we look forward to
seeing you at the editor chat this week!
