Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

I’m sure this is not the correct place to post this, so please forgive me in advance.

I cannot find any information anywhere regarding a roadmap for 5.0 and planned changes to wrap the new gutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. I have hundreds of clients (not hyperbole) that have hundreds of posts, and tens of pages that we have no idea if they’ll work when gutenberg is wrapped into the core down the road. I’m certain that there are likely thousands, if not tens of thousands of freelancers and agencies out there in my same exact situation.

The lack of information is so incredibly unsettling.

Perhaps you could point me to a place where all of this is discussed in detail rather than vague terms? The extremely large WordPress community would certainly appreciate it.

    Thanks for the reply. Based on my experience converting sites over to the new editor, I’d fully agree that there’s a lot of work to do.
    
    I wish there was a bit more transparency in this process.
