  • 4.9.3 betaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. was supposed to be built on Tuesday, but some tickets were still actively being worked on, so it will be done after dev chat
  • @sergey to post on Makemake A collection of P2 blogs at make.wordpress.org, which are the home to a number of contributor groups, including core development (make/core, formerly "wpdevel"), the UI working group (make/ui), translators (make/polyglots), the theme reviewers (make/themes), resources for plugin authors (make/plugins), and the accessibility working group (make/accessibility)./CoreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. with notable fixes, things to test, and link to JSHint dev note
  • RC and releaseRelease A release is the distribution of the final version of an application. A software release may be either public or private and generally constitutes the initial or new generation of a new or upgraded application. A release is preceded by the distribution of alpha and then beta versions of the software. are still planned for 29th and 30th, respectively
  • Note: 4.9.3-beta1 is out, post is still pending
