# Media bug scrub summary, May 6, 2016

Last week, we held a media component bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result.
Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not
defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse
changes from the previous version) being the highest priority. scrub in [#core-images](https://make.wordpress.org/core/tag/core-images/).

and began working through issues on the [Awaiting Review](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/query?status=!closed&component=Media&type=defect+(bug)&milestone=Awaiting+Review&desc=1&order=id)
milestone.
