Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

Thanks for the update! Though you’ve now reminded me of something I wanted to propose for the next dev chat. In the vein of discussing plans for 3.2, would it be possible to do a pre-mortem on it? As in, discuss anything at all that could possibly go wrong so we have a semi-reliable hit-list for issues before they crop up. It was an idea I read in a product conception book last week, and this stage of the dev cycle would be the best place to do it.

I try to follow this blogblog (versus network, site), because I’m interested in WordPress and it’s development, But I dislike the jargon. What is “SXSW”? I figured out what GSoC meant, by searching on Google, but I can’t be sure I found out what SXSW means. So what the h*** are you talking about?

PLEASE use the full and descriptive name of things, not some strange acronym..

    OK, thanks. Is this music and film festival related to WordPress in some way? Or is it so popular in the US that almost everyone is expected to show up? Me not know nothing.

    @Knut: There is also an Interactive festival, which will bring together about 17,000 members of the web community from around the world. WordPress is always a presence there, and Matt is fond of saying that WordPress got its start at South by Southwest back in the day.
