# Ryan is traveling today and we forgot to…

Ryan is traveling today and we forgot to reschedule the dev chat, so today will 
be a short and sweet confirmation of who’s working on what for 3.1. No new business.

Agenda:

 * Summary of the big tasks that have been approved/assigned: Jane, Mark Jaquith,
   Peter Westwood, Nacin
 * Assign any unclaimed approved-but-developerless tasks
 * Brief review of 3.1 scope, and why some suggestions made on wpdevelwpdevel Formerly
   the development updates P2 blog at wpdevel.wordpress.com. It is now **make/core**
   and resides at [make.wordpress.org/core](https://make.wordpress.org/core/). are
   out of scope for this release Jane, Nacin, Jaquith, Westi
 * TracTrac An open source project by Edgewall Software that serves as a bug tracker
   and project management tool for WordPress./bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected
   result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements,
   not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions(
   adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority. review–
   Westi, Nacin, Jaquith

 3. I will be around for the whole meetupMeetup All local/regional gatherings that 
    are officially a part of the WordPress world but are not WordCamps are organized
    through [https://www.meetup.com/](https://www.meetup.com/). A meetup is typically
    a chance for local WordPress users to get together and share new ideas and seek
    help from one another. Searching for ‘WordPress’ on meetup.com will help you find
    options in your area. and will happily discuss/review any pet tickets people have
    for “bugs” once the short formalities detailed above are out of the way.
 4. To qualify for this the tickets should have a good summary of the issue and preferably
    a smallish patchpatch A special text file that describes changes to code, by identifying
    the files and lines which are added, removed, and altered. It may also be referred
    to as a **diff**. A patch can be _applied_ to a codebase for testing. which resolves
    the issue 😉
