Found a bugbug A bug is an error or unexpected result. Performance improvements, code optimization, and are considered enhancements, not defects. After feature freeze, only bugs are dealt with, with regressions (adverse changes from the previous version) being the highest priority.? Create a ticket in the bug tracker.
Want to contribute? Get started quickly with tickets marked as good first bugs for new contributors or join a bug scrub. There’s more on the reports page, like patches needing testing, and on feature projects page.

In light of Thanksgiving, I’m going to do a “thanks” post for the dev blogblog (versus network, site) this week since there’s no dev chat. Thinking I’ll call out the people who’ve contributed a patchpatch A special text file that describes changes to code, by identifying the files and lines which are added, removed, and altered. Since we all know what a manual and aggravating task it is to make a list of core contributorsCore Contributors Core contributors are those who have worked on a release of WordPress, by creating the functions or finding and patching bugs. (we need a better system for this), people can use this post to leave comments to give props to people who go above and beyond helping users in the forums, and if you’ve had a patch committed this year, maybe check your TracTrac An open source project by Edgewall Software that serves as a bug tracker and project management tool for WordPress. profile to see if you have an actual name and/or URLURL A specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org listed in your profile.     By hand.
    
    But it didn’t take take that long. (With a browser that supports relational links and also keyboard shortcuts for relational links, so that I did not have to take my hands off the keyboard.)

    Please keep discussion about ticketticket Created for both bug reports and feature development on the bug tracker. counts and progress off of tickets.
    It does nothing but create extra noise.
