Hi everyone.

I suppose it’s far too late for suggestions of this kind, but, personally, I really, really like the elegance and simplicity of Michael Heileman’s monolith blogblog (versus network, site) UIUI User interface. I’m sure you’re aware of the UI and i suppose there must have been reasons that have made WP take a different approach – backward compatibility and “rivalry” issues among them, I suppose. But in the current version Crazyhorse uses both a vertical main menu and javascriptJavaScript JavaScript or JS is an object-oriented computer programming language commonly used to create interactive effects within web browsers. WordPress makes extensive use of JS for a better user experience. While PHP is executed on the server, JS executes within a user’s browser. https://www.javascript.com/. powered drop drop boxes – so I was wondering if it wouldn’t be a good idea to put the entire left menu in a drop box like the favorite actions one. Moreover, since the WP adminadmin (and super admin) interface is now using all kinds of JSJS JavaScript, a web scripting language typically executed in the browser. Often used for advanced user interfaces and behaviors. effects, I supppose there is even less reason than there was before to let WP be inspired by a beautiful design like monolith. It looks good. Heileman does good work. But it’s not well targeted at WP’s broad audience. It seems well-targeted at Habari’s, however.

Oh, forgot to mention that we plan to make the menu collapsible and that when collapsed we might do a dropdown nav menu in the headerHeader The header of your site is typically the first thing people will experience. The masthead or header art located across the top of your page is part of the look and feel of your website. It can influence a visitor’s opinion about your content and you/ your organization’s brand. It may also look different on different screen sizes.. That or do a row of icons. Undecided and still unimplemented. 🙂
