Apply to Organize

  1. Apply to Organize a WordPress Campus Connect Event at least six weeks in advance.
  2. The application vetting process usually takes 2–3 weeks.
  3. Once approved, you’ll receive:
    • An email to schedule an orientation call 
    • Once orientation is complete, we will send the Event Organizer Agreement for signature.
    • An official event email address (if requested)
    • A dedicated website
    • Access to the event tracker and budget form
  4. Before submitting your budget, gather estimates or quotes for each planned expense (such as snacks, swag, internet, banners, certificates). Having realistic figures helps you stay within the approved sponsorship or Foundation funding limit and simplifies financial reporting.
  5. The Global Sponsorship Program covers the event budget up to USD 300. Additional funding may be raised locally or received via in-kind sponsorship.
