Program Supporters who qualify and are interested are welcome to participate in the Event Support tasks of mentoring and meetupMeetup Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events on a regular basis (commonly once a month). Learn more about Meetups in our Meetup Organizer Handbook. check-ins. Additionally, they also perform some other tasks vital to the Community Team’s events program.

  • Reviewing Meetup and WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. applications

  • Processing new Event and Program SupporterProgram Supporter Community Program Supporters (formerly Deputies) are a team of people worldwide who review WordCamp and Meetup applications, interview lead organizers, and keep things moving at WordCamp Central.   • Community Team P2P2 P2 or O2 is the term people use to refer to the Make WordPress blog. It can be found at https://make.wordpress.org/. – https://make.wordpress.org/community/
  • WordPress Chapters on Meetup.com – http://www.meetup.com/pro/wordpress
  • WordCamp CentralWordCamp Central Website for all WordCamp activities globally. https://central.wordcamp.org includes a list of upcoming and past camp with links to each. Tracker- https://central.wordcamp.org/
    • Event supporters have limited access to the WordCamp tracker (only the events they are mentoring)
    • Program Supporters have full access to the WordCamp and Meetup trackers
    • Program Managers with extra approval have access to the financial tools
  • WordPress Community Team on GitHubGitHub GitHub is a website that offers online implementation of git repositories that can easily be shared, copied and modified by other developers. Public repositories are free to host, private repositories require a paid subscription.   • Making WordPress SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/.
