Verify Before Providing Access to Tools

Before giving them access to anything, make sure:

  • The Community Team Contributor agreement has been signed and the courses finished.
  • If they have, provide access to the tools that follow.

Event Supporters don’t require as many tools as Program Supporters do.

  • Add to the WordPress Community Supporters & Managers spreadsheet and Community Team Supporters and Managers handbook page
  • If they can mentorEvent Supporter Event Supporter (formerly Mentor) is someone who has already organised a WordCamp and has time to meet with their assigned mentee every 2 weeks, they talk over where they should be in their timeline, help them to identify their issues, and also identify solutions for their issues. WordCamps and bigger events, add them to the mentor dashboard.
  • Add to community-event-supporters Slack channel
