If a supporter is just switching to inactive status, use this checklist.
This is a generic list, and a lot of these items need to be considered on a case-by-case basis. People who leave their community supporter role may still be active, trusted contributors to WordPress, depending on the circumstances. Have a conversation with the departing supporter to determine their intentions. When in doubt, err on the side of caution and remove permissions, in order to reduce the potential attack surface. Access can always be reinstated later if needed.
