If a supporter needs to be completely removed/offboarded, [please use this checklist](https://make.wordpress.org/community/handbook/community-deputy/the-deputy-program/leaving-the-deputy-program/community-deputy-offboarding-checklist/)
instead.

Here’s the list of things we need to do when a supporter confirms that they are
not active anymore. If you are assisting with changing the supporter to inactive,
please Communicate with the supporter about removing access chat or a discussion,
before starting the process. Once confirmed, follow the following procedure:

 * Remove access to all Inboxes of Help Scout for that supporter.
 * Mark them as ‘Inactive’ in the [Community Supporters and Managers list](https://make.wordpress.org/community/community-deputies/).
 * Change their [user role in WordCamp Central](https://central.wordcamp.org/wp-admin/users.php)
   to “Subscriber”.
 * If they mentorEvent Supporter Event Supporter (formerly Mentor) is someone who

and bigger events, remove their name from the [mentor dashboard](https://central.wordcamp.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wordcamp&page=mentors).
