If you are currently mentoring a WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. I’m currently mentoring:

🇦🇹 WordCamp VIenna (15-16 April).
- The schedule is published
- Tickets are on sale
- Sponsors are at about 75% of the budgeted amount. They hope to find the remaining sponsors in the next weeks, and if not, I suggested reaching out to the deputyProgram Supporter Community Program Supporters (formerly Deputies) are a team of people worldwide who review WordCamp and Meetup applications, interview lead organizers, and keep things moving at WordCamp Central. Everything is going smoothly, and in a similar way to the progress made in other years at the same time.

I had our first mentorEvent Supporter Event Supporter (formerly Mentor) is someone who has already organised a WordCamp and has time to meet with their assigned mentee every 2 weeks, they talk over where they should be in their timeline, help them to identify their issues, and also identify solutions for their issues. meeting on March 1st.
- They are planning a WordCamp in October
- They will start recruiting organizers soon
- There are several candidates for the venue, and it will be narrowed down by the end of March.
The leader group is familiar with the progress of the WordCamp, but this time due to Covid-19, it has been a long time since in-parson WordCamp, so they are planning to hold it on a smaller scale.

WordCamp Iloilo 2023

Last Meeting Feb 25.

• Still in the planning phase.
• AV – still in talks. Had problems last time with quality.
• Three Sponsors signed up (including Yoast).
• Three sponsors “Maybe”.
• Venue has given a discount & requires no deposit (invoice after the event).
• Thinking about running Kids Camp – require additional room – No WWC/background checks required.
• Thinking about raising the attendee limit to 300 – will need a new venue quote.
• Slow response from some suppliers.
• Hope to review the budget in the next two weeks.
