Feedback Requested: Guidelines for Regional In-person WordCamps

Last month, we simplified guidelines for organizing regional in-person WordCamps. Moving forward, regional WordCamps will not need to go through additional steps (such as writing a proposal), and can directly apply to organize a camp for their region using the regular WordCamp application form. However, regional WordCamp applications will continue to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by WordCamp CentralWordCamp Central Website for all WordCamp activities globally. https://central.wordcamp.org includes a list of upcoming and past camp with links to each. deputiesProgram Supporter Community Program Supporters (formerly Deputies) are a team of people worldwide who review WordCamp and Meetup applications, interview lead organizers, and keep things moving at WordCamp Central. In your mind, what are some guidelines the Community Team can implement to evaluate whether a local community is active, before approving their regional WordCamp? Please share your feedback in the chat!
