During this time we’ll halt WordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. If you’ll need to pay for goods or services during that time please submit all requests no later than 9am Pacific Friday, December 18, 2020.
Payments submitted leading up to the payment intermission may have additional delays from year end postal, bank, and business closures so expect additional processing time.
Payment requests submitted after 9am Friday, December 18, 2020 will not likely be processed until Monday, January 4, 2021. Sponsor invoices paid December 19, 2020 – January 3 2021 won’t be marked paid until after January 4, 2021. Contracts will not be reviewed and approved until the following week.
Some deputies, mentors Someone who has already organised a WordCamp and has time to meet with their assigned mentee every 2 weeks, they talk over where they should be in their timeline, help them to identify their issues, and also identify solutions for their issues., and community members will still be available by email at email@example.com or on Slack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. Normal vendor payment, sponsorship attributions, and contract review schedule will resume Monday, January 4, 2021 though it may take through the end of that week to get fully caught up.
