I experimented with emailing the meetupMeetup Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events on a regular basis (commonly once a month). Learn more about Meetups in our Meetup Organizer Handbook. closest to me (Edmonton) that I have direct contact with, using the outreach template.

There’s discussion ongoing at the moment about getting them to plan a training session there.

Goal for this month: outreach to one more myself and have someone else outreach to another. I would love to have someone else on the team also do an outreach to a meetup they know of. Would anyone present today be interested?

@rahuldsarker: I know couple of communities in India, BD and NEPAL

@aurooba: Awesome! I’ll reach out to you tomorrow Rahul and we can chat about reaching out to them with the process we’re creating.
