# Weekly Updates

Hello to all our DeputiesProgram Supporter Community Program Supporters (formerly
Deputies) are a team of people worldwide who review WordCamp and Meetup applications,
interview lead organizers, and keep things moving at WordCamp Central. Find more

WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything
related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes
together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share

Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events

     * Integrating HubSpot into the Global Sponsor Program (pushing to WordCampWordCamp
       WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related
       to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes 
       together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share

       handbook pages, updated pages on WordCamp CentralWordCamp Central Website for

       includes a list of upcoming and past camp with links to each., organizer support)
     * Created site for WordCamp Udaipur and Stockholm
     * Support for meetup groups onboarding new organizers
     * Help Scout triage and replies
     * Follow-ups on insurance renewal certificates
     * Vetted some Meetup applications
 4. Mentorships:
 5.  * WordCamp for Publishers (Columbus): Planning is on track, but ticket sales are
       low. Gave them some suggestions for promotion. Considering alternate swag to
       t-shirts to avoid issues with sizing (i.e., tote bags).
     * WC Milwaukee: Haven’t heard from in a while. Last we chatted, they were working
       on budget and venue agreement. Checked in via email with no response yet.
     * WC Riverside: Working on budget and venue contract. Sponsor wranglerWrangler
       Someone, usually a person part of event organizing team, who looks after certain
       things like budget or sponsors. is already reaching out to potential sponsors.
       Advised them to fill out their WordCamp listing.
