WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. Kota Kinabalu was conducted on 9th March.
- There were 99 attendees who registered.
- Bee wrote a nice post about the attendance rate here – https://2019.kotakinabalu.wordcamp.org/2019/03/11/it-was-amazing/
- 8 speakers spoke at the WC
- The organizers mainly used WhatsApp group to co-ordinate and there is a active meetupMeetup Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events on a regular basis (commonly once a month). Learn more about Meetups in our Meetup Organizer Handbook. group that is growing and events are also taking place on it.
- The WC stayed within its budget but final accounting still needs to take place.
