Bulk Ticket Purchasing

Recently, one of our WCUSWCUS WordCamp US. The US flagship WordCamp event. sponsors purchased several tickets, I’m assuming they’re for some sort of contest. All of the tickets were purchased using the same name, address, email, etc. I don’t think there’s any issue with a sponsor purchasing this many tickets, but it could potentially put an attendee at risk.

As we all know, on the ticket form there is an option for life-threatening allergies. If the ticket has already been purchased, the attendee is editing a ticket that already exists. This means that if they have an allergy we need to know about, we may not get notified.

While the odds are low that someone with an allergy/a11yAccessibility Accessibility (commonly shortened to a11y) refers to the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. The concept of accessible design ensures both “direct access” (i.e. unassisted) and “indirect access” meaning compatibility with a person’s assistive technology (for example, computer screen readers). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessibility) need will get one of these tickets, they could. How can we eliminate this risk, while still ensuring that sponsors can purchase additional tickets for their promotions?
