The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/.! The metaMeta Meta is a term that refers to the inside workings of a group. For us, this is the team that works on internal WordPress sites like WordCamp Central and Make WordPress.-wordcamp channel is where organizers and other folks come when they need technical help with a WordCamp site or a related tool. Occasionally their questions require investigation by a developer on the Meta team, but most often they can be answered by anyone who knows their way around the system.

The big payoff is that you get to help other people who are also passionate about the WordPress community so they can run fantastic WordCamp events. And, you may learn things about WordCamp sites and tools that you didn’t know before.
