Hey everyone, it’s the first Thursday of the month, which means it’s our Community Team Chat day! Please join us in #outreach at 19:00 UTC today.

For this meeting, I’d like to discuss training for a new crop of volunteers (including mentorsEvent Supporter Event Supporter (formerly Mentor) is someone who has already organised a WordCamp and has time to meet with their assigned mentee every 2 weeks, they talk over where they should be in their timeline, help them to identify their issues, and also identify solutions for their issues.)…. and anything else on your mind. Add agenda items in the comments.

I wish I had posted a reminder about this meeting earlier in the week. 🙂 If it snuck up on you like it did on me, and you’d like to suggest that we reschedule, I’m open to that — please comment below if you’d like to postpone this meeting until next Thursday at the same time.

Let’s reschedule our monthly team chat next Thursday at 18:00 UTC to avoid the WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. US weekly chat as well, since both Kevin and Cami have that commitment for the rest of the year. 🙂
