To make life a little easier, I added a widgetWidget A WordPress Widget is a small block that performs a specific function. You can add these widgets in sidebars also known as widget-ready areas on your web page. WordPress widgets were originally created to provide a simple and easy-to-use way of giving design and structure control of the WordPress theme to the user. to the [WordCamp TV category page](http://wordpress.tv/category/wordcamptv/) to allow us to show all the languages we have videos for. Here it is in action: [⌊Screen Shot 2014-07-18 at 3.54.22 PM⌉⌊Screen Shot 2014-07-18 at 3.54.22 PM⌉[ So, that is an improvement at least, but in setting it up I noticed that we often have two languages when one will suffice. For example, we have just one taxonomyTaxonomy A taxonomy is a way to group things together. In WordPress, some common taxonomies are category, link, tag, or post format. [https://codex.wordpress.org/Taxonomies#Default_Taxonomies](https://codex.wordpress.org/Taxonomies#Default_Taxonomies). for German videos (“German”) but two for French videos (“French” and “Français”) so the question is, which should we use? Should we keep using English names for these languages, or actually use their, you know, real name? But on the other side the whole site is in english, so normally you will search for english words? This seems like a more practical solution to offering different versions of WordPress and I am sure non-English users will welcome it. And they use the “Español” and “Français” approach. First i thoght it is the best and clearest way, but a little bit later i was not really sure. It could be very hard for someone to search e.g. for arabic or russian content if he doesn’t know the correct written characters.
