# So question when categorising the language does one…

So, question: when categorising the language, does one use the English version of
the language e.g. “French”, or the accepted abbreviation e.g. “FR”?

(I do apologise of the answer is buried here somewhere, but a quick search on the
p2 didn’t reveal the magic).

 3. I ask because I’ve noticed a couple of inconsistencies in those waiting and in
    those already published (e.g., some use FR, some use French, some use Français,
    and some use a mixture), so want to make sure I do things correctly and may as
    well standardise along the way.

 6. Huh; I don’t think we have a policy there. 🙂 let’s do all of the above for now;
    the whole site needs a taxonomyTaxonomy A taxonomy is a way to group things together.
    In WordPress, some common taxonomies are category, link, tag, or post format. [https://codex.wordpress.org/Taxonomies#Default_Taxonomies](https://codex.wordpress.org/Taxonomies#Default_Taxonomies).
    overhaul, but I’m not sure when that’ll happen.

     * So am adding “FR, Français, and French” to all French videos in waiting. Will
       get to the others later if, well, the er, motivation strikes.
