Past Week:
- Changed our irc channel
- GSoC/OPW penultimate week check-ins, preparing for final week
- Confirmed all new team reps
- Working on getting wordpress.tv subtitling ready for launch (last thing, we’re removing the requirement of being a logged-in wordpress.comWordPress.com An online implementation of WordPress code that lets you immediately access a new WordPress environment to publish your content. WordPress.com is a private company owned by Automattic that hosts the largest multisite in the world. - Reviewed the work by @iandunn on adding categoryCategory The 'category' taxonomy lets you group posts / content together that share a common bond. Categories are pre-defined and broad ranging. selector to this site so we can have sections separate from tags

- We’re going to change WordCamp.org over to use wp stable instead of branch to ensure the least possibility of issues for our wonderful volunteer WC organizers
- Attending WC Buffalo this weekend
- Post call for volunteers to work on community expectations doc
- Post results of summit research to /updates

  Yes, we should talk GHC — I’ll pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” you sometime in the afternoon, if that’s good for you.

- WordCamps Louisville and Cape Town published their dates
- Toronto published their schedule
- Milwaukee 2014 approved for pre-planning
- Vinicius Massuchetto approved to take over the WordCamp Sao Paulo team after Catia’s departure
- Jess Jurick volunteered to help administrate the WordCamp Multi-Event Sponsorship program
