I’ve been going through the Drafts folder and cleaning things up there a bit. There have been quite a few WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. videos from 2012 that got lost in the shuffle (Austin, Detroit, and maybe more) that I think we should publish.

I have moved these long lost videos into the Pending queue, and tagged them as RESCUE ME. For now ignore them and do not publish. I’m sure I will find a few more (still working through the drafts folder) and want to wait and see what we’ve got before we start publishing.

Maybe we promote it as “WordCamp – The lost sessions” 🙂

Sounds good. I’m going to try and do a couple tonight. Do we need to just put something up here after we’ve approved everything and got a link to the slides (if we don’t have them already)? Just want to make sure I do the process right!!

  Hi AJ – For the time being we’ve started assigning posts to mods for review by making them the “author” of that post. You will note that you can’t actually edit other videos, just the ones that have been assigned to you.
  
  I’m working on updating the documentation for mods, so for now I’d say just watch the videos that have been assigned (preview them) and make sure there is no producer logos or any quality issues with the audio or video.
  
  Go ahead and pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.” me if you have any issues.
