Description: So many people around the globe are organizing events with amazing WP content, and we want to get it ALL on WordPress.tv! Review the content uploaded by WordCamps and meetupMeetup Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events on a regular basis (commonly once a month). Learn more about Meetups in our Meetup Organizer Handbook. groups to make sure it’s accurate and appropriate, and publish it for all the world to enjoy. This group will also manage comments on WordPress.tv.

Length of Project: Ongoing for a team of 2-4 people.

Experience Required: Subject matter competency for content review. Delight and passion for all things video.

So much great information comes out of the various WordCamps held every year, and so little of it makes it to the wordpress.tv website; I’d like to help change that, so count me in!

As this is an ongoing item I am going to make myself available, even though I signed up for another as well ;). There is always time in the day to watch a WordPress video!

Are there guidelines for this, anything formal in terms of what’s to be allowed/not allowed, and some type of workflow or process? I can see something high level here being used, similar to the theme review team.

  We do have submissions guidelines (blow the dust off of them) for WordPress.tv here: http://blog.wordpress.tv/submission-guidelines/
  
  We already have a process by which WordCampWordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. They're one of the places where the WordPress community comes together to teach one another what they’ve learned throughout the year and share the joy. Learn more. organizers upload their videos, but no real process for how a group would work together to review and publish those videos, so it would be a great first step for the subcommittee, once established, to create/publish a workflow they’ve agreed on.
