Core AI Contributor Badge
If you are currently a contributor and have been actively involved in the coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. AI team, you are eligible for a Contributor Badge typically using this criteria:
- At leads discretion based on work done.
- If you are a core committer and contributing in this area, or have past merged PR.

Core AI Team Badge
Eligibility for a Team Badge, typically falls to work done across a longer time period, such as twelve months and is up to the discretion of the team leads.

Requesting a Profile Badge
If you meet the criteria, you can request a badge. To access the request, the user should be logged in with their WordPress.orgWordPress.org The community site where WordPress code is created and shared by the users. This is where you can download the source code for WordPress core, plugins and themes as well as the central location for community conversations and organization. https://wordpress.org/ account and open the Request Membership tab, after submitting the required information. A Core AI Team Representative will confirm your contribution and assign the badge. The team leads will perform a weekly review of contributions and award badges at that time.
