Test Chat Summary, Februari 2

The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/. we asked for new a11y testers on a weekly basis. About 25 people responded. The group is large and diverse enough to divide them into:

  • keyboard-only and colour testers
  • screen reader users
  • developers

Each can test different issues.

This week we will test:

They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party. For that we also need to install the latest patch with ticket #28873 because the Press This button in tools.php in not accessible with keyboard only.
  2. Missing label associations throughout network admin. For the developers, #30486

Plugin and patches are installed on the test server now, details are in the test e-mail.
