Plugin Directory Team Update for 12/31

Volume was down due to the holidays. I, and probably others, were off much of the time. @ipstenu helped keep the tides back for us 🙂

Highlights from the week:

  • Added Daniel Bachhuber (@danielbachhuber) as a new member of the team.
  • Team repTeam Rep A Team Rep is a person who represents the Make WordPress team to the rest of the project, make sure issues are raised and addressed as needed, and coordinates cross-team efforts. voting results were announced.I’m continuing on as a team rep for this term, seconded by Pippin Williamson (@mordauk).
  • Jane put the call out for brainstorming of potential pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory https://wordpress.org/plugins/ or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party repo-related stats we could/should collect. Feel free to pitch in if you have any in mind.

  • Currently in the request queue: 61 (9 older than one week; 44 with no replies)

  • New: 95 (92 closed, 3 still open)
  • Currently open: 17 (only 2 with no activity in the last week)
