The current hover states for the Admin flyouts…
The current hover states for the Admin flyouts are still not quite there. Here’s what we’d like to improve about them:
- We’d like both the hover state on first level items and second level items to be more contrasted. They are currently a pale grey gradient and light blue (See screenshot above).
- The blue fade feels a bit off. Alternatives welcome.

Playing safe here, but why not use a simple dark gray?

I definitely agree with @Elio on the color .. the pale blue just doesn’t translate well
I think @Elio’s gray may be a shade or 2 too dark, but definitely easier to read than the blue.

I think the grey should be something a little bit less darker.
Something like an #9a9a9a.

They do not fly out on focus, so they aren’t accessible per keyboard. Any reason for this?

how about making the background color configure-able? I would like it to be flourescent yellow but others probably would like something more muted. to each their own.
