I’ve started on the Anatomy of a Theme page, but before I go any further, I wanted to check to see if I was going in the right direction. Can anyone provide input on what they expect to see in that module?

  • Local InstallLocal Install A local install of WordPress is a way to create a staging environment by installing a LAMP or LEMP stack on your local computer. (@tecdoc)
    Tom sent an email saying he would work on this.
  • Intro to CSSCSS CSS is an acronym for cascading style sheets. This is what controls the design or look and feel of a site. (@jerrysarcastic)
    Jerry added the exercises. The module now just needs screenshots and the quiz. What is there now is ready for copy editing (pingPing The act of sending a very small amount of data to an end point. Ping is used in computer science to illicit a response from a target server to test it’s connection. Ping is also a term used by Slack users to @ someone or send them a direct message (DM). Users might say something along the lines of “Ping me when the meeting starts.”: @meaganhanes)

We are having an issue of folks starting modules and then disappearing. We decided that if after not showing up on IRC, getting pinged here and getting emailed we don’t hear from them for 2 weeks we will consider the module abandoned and up for grabs.
