Weekly Meetings

As well as discussing support issues here on the blog, we use Slack for group communication.

Our weekly meeting is held fortnightly on Thursday at 20:00 UTC, with agendas published below. 4.0 OMGWTFBBQ forum topic has been posted

I’ve posted and made sticky in the How-To and Troubleshooting sub-forum the OMGWTFBBQ topic and closed it.

I’ve replaced the old 3.9 references/links and added the current CORE CHANGES draft from make/support.

As usual, if any new 4.0 issues arise then please open the topic add to it and then close it again. Feel free to update or point out any typos or gaffes that I may have left in place.

Please remember that when a new release comes out there are/will be some people who will post support topics while angry. If that happens don’t respond in kind, keep it positive. Walk away from any topics that make you upset and never reply while angry.

I broke the posts out into separate reply. I keep stressing this for a reason. If you only have to edit one reply to add in plugins/themes, it means there’s less a chance of deleting something else. That’s why the template said “REPLY #1” yo 😉 It’s easier for everyone who follows after you.

Added “My admin panel is now in a different language!”

That is an odd one, I admit, but yes, it is possible for somebody who previously tried a language and switched back to have a saved option for that language which didn’t do anything until they update to 4.0. That option is now exposed in Settings->General and can be changed there.
