Hm maybe I’ve tagged it wrong. I’ve finished (and uploaded) the translations for Android and Windows Phone into Scottish Gaelic (gd). Can someone tell me what the next step is to get it to release? Thanks.

Hello there,
Version 1.9.1 of WordPress for Windows Phone is just around the corner and there are new/updated strings. We’d to push your translations out as soon as you have them, but at latest in version 1.9.2 (few weeks from now).

Microsoft failed the latest version of the Windows Phone 7 app because we didn’t have the app’s description translated. I’ve added the description to GlotPress, can you guys help finish up the French, German, Spanish and Italian translations? There’s a still a few strings to be translated in each of those as well.

Once those are updated we can resubmit for testing again

We are working on the next version of WordPress for Windows Phone and would like to add as many translations as possible. If you’re a translator would you mind helping out?
The project is at http://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wordpress-for-windows-phone/development
If your language needs to be added there, let me know and I’ll add it for you!

Are there limitations of languages that can be translated as with iOS?

Dan
Yes, there’s a list here. It’s ok to use the 7.1 list as that should be out in the fall.

I think, we have the caching problem again at the translation for the Windows Phone. The Project Page says 27 untranslated strings, but if you click on “27″ there is just one untranslated string.

*d’oh* My fault. Everything is fine.

It’s up to those apps’ developers to decide when and how to release the translations, but thanks for helping out, though.
