Hm maybe I’ve tagged it wrong. I’ve finished (and uploaded) the translations for Android and Windows Phone into Scottish Gaelic (gd). Can someone tell me what the next step is to get it to release? Thanks.

Thanks for enabling. As for Android itself: Indeed, only nb is currently listed. Does one simply clone, make an nn folder, translate and issue a pull request? Is it really that simple? I’d be happy to move this discussion off polyglots, but I don’t quite know where else it would fit. After all, we translate. Amor linguārum nos unit.

The app is Open Source and it’s source is released under the GPL – just like all the other apps. It’s codebase is a part of the WordPress Foundation’s software group. However, when submitted the app needs to be “released” by a company – and since Automattic is so involved in creating the apps it has traditionally been marked with its name. I wouldn’t read too much into it though.

Zé, there is a problem with our host. After domain change we can’t access to our control panel. They are trying to fix that. When they fix it, I’m gonna put a info page for wordpress-tr.com to inform people and redirect them to wp-tr.org. Is this enough or do I have to do anything else?

I was looking into the Android translation as @jonezjea requested this. I would like to approve some suggestions and change some translations to make them inline with the WordPress.org translation.
As I am one of the moderators of the nl_NL translation of WordPress I thought I already had moderation rights on the specific translation. Apparently that is not the case. Can I get commit access so I can approve the Android suggestions and make some modification to the iPhone translation so the translations will be in sync.

Hi, I’ve just updated the wpcom translation to Hungarian. Thus I have no access to wpcom-i18n repsoitory, Iv’e commited it to wordpress-i18n/hu_HU/wpcom. So, somebody please update it
Another noteable thing is, that the hungarian translation for the Android app is also in good shape, and available to deploy at wordpress-i18n/hu_HU/android

Yes please add me as a validator for android hu.I know that, wpcom repo has no public commit. That’s why I upload it to the given location. It’s up to you if you want to update the version in the wpcom-i18n repository, or not. The current state in wpcom-i18n is 13% or so, the version i we have in wordpress-i18n/hu_HU/wpcom is around 45%…

You can get validator status at wpcom’s GlotPress project and there you will be able to import PO files. PO and MO files at wpcom’s i18n repository are files that are generated from GlotPress.
