I’d like to both offer my help and ask for help…
I’m trying to localize Dealicious (a premium theme by the WPdeals team)
I’ve translated the po file with poedit, edited wp-config.php file and uploaded both the MO and the po files to wp-content/languages.
My website is still in English 
Could someone please help me?
I’d also like to translate WPdeals into Italian. Is anyone already working on that? If yes, can I help? If not, can someone help me out on the technical side of things?

This is not the correct place for these kinds of requests.
This site is dedicated to the translation of the core of WordPress and related projects (such as bbPress or BuddyPress). From the sound of it, it seems that what you need is to visit to support forum and ask there. Come to think of it, you might even consider starting by asking the developers of those themes for support.

I was also offering help in the translation of a free plugin, that’s why I thought it might have been the right place:)
I’ve been waiting a few days now…
Ok, though, I’ll try the support forum. I’ve already tried asking the developers but they aren’t feeling very chatty
